Business Insurance Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

Full Time in Austin, TX

Our successful agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team.
The main functions of this position are to solicit and sell Commercial products to new and existing customers while managing the existing book of business. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years commercial experience and who does have an active Texas Property and Casualty insurance license.
Responsibilities Include
· Quoting and Binging coverage; providing service support to customers and to other sales staff.
· Servicing day to day customer needs
· Working to grow the agencies commercial lines customers while maintaining good working relationships with clients and companies.
· Preparing Insurance Proposals, Summaries and related documents.
· Helping monitor claims and conducting loss prevention meetings
· Working with underwriters to amend coverage to meet clients needs.
· Scheduling and completing annual policy reviews with existing clients.
· Cross-sell group benefit packages with our Financial Specialist.
· Hitting monthly, quarterly and annual goals for the agency in Commercial Lines.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Requires 2-3 years of commercial lines customer service experience.
  • Property and Casualty Licensed (must already have)
  • Life and Health Licensed (must be able to obtain)
  • Ability to work Independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and underwriters.
  • Highly effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Takes initiative and displays a sense of urgency
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to make recommendations specific to client needs
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Prioritization and a high sense of urgency to respond to clients is a must.

Compensation $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
