"Innovative program that saved me from a house fire!
When Ted Heaton's staff reached out to me about a new program called Ting - an electricity monitor that screens your house for possible electrical disturbances, I was skeptical. But since some of my neighbors had been complaining about weird electrical stuff in their houses, I decided to take a chance.

There was no cost to me for the program, and the equipment was super easy to install. I forgot that it was even plugged in most of the time.

But one day, I got a notice that there was arcing in the electrical systems of the house, and it was potentially dangerous. The Ting representatives walked me through the troubleshooting process, and eventually we found the culprit - a ceramic heat lamp that was arcing since it was at its end of life. The device doesn't emit light, only heat, so there was no way I would have found it without the Ting device. We were leaving to go out of town for 10 days just before this happened. I hate to think about a house fire while we were gone!
